About PALM
Founded in 2015, PALM, a family hoisting products company, is situated in the Saint-Laurent borough of Montréal. The three partners, Sylvie, Pierre, and Mike, all have 30 to 35 years’ experience in the hoisting and tie-down industry. They’re the experts in the industry in Québec.
PALM aims to increase safety on construction sites with top-quality hoisting and lifting products. The dedicated team at PALM knows and understands the costs related to idle construction sites; we adapt to our clients’ schedules and respond to their requests exceptionally quickly.

Pierre Asselin PresidentPierre has been working in the steel business for over 30 years and particularly in the wire rope business for 25 years. Although he is PALM’s main administrator, he does not hesitate to go lend a hand in the warehouse to make sure that our customers enjoy the superior service they deserve because at PALM, the customer is priority number one.

Sylvie has been working in the wire rope business for more than 40 years. Throughout these years Sylvie has earned a reputation of being a lifting product professional. She constantly goes out of her way for our customers and sees to their wellbeing in a courteous and professional fashion at all times.

Strong of his 35 years of experience in the wire rope business Mike has become the go to guy in the business.
Having started as a splicer, he knows our business inside out. You can always count on Mike for a courteous, professional and mostly last minute emergency service.
